Long awaited trip

Following the trend of most people in the world since the beginning of the COVID pandemic, I also took the opportunity to travel overseas be it just across the causeway. Had a wonderful time experiencing cool weather and took fantastic pictures. Although the crowd was just quite ridiculous given the school holidays period.

This picture really highlights the beginning of a new phase of society. Hopefully things will progress in the correct direction.

Greater the lot, bigger the stomach

Went for a great place for brunch over the weekend. Was a chance finding as I was not sure where to go. Was just taking a stroll around the cove and browsing through the line of restaurants to see which pique my interest. The name of the restaurant was quite unique and the place looks quite nice and refreshing. So decided to give it a try. The price was not the plus point but the quality of the food was. The big breakfast was really good and the salad was fresh as well. The uniqueness of the salad sounded a bit weird but tasted really good. Definitely worth a try.

Principle of travel

One thing I have in my mind when travelling free and easy is to have one primary objective for the travel. This round the objective was to visit the Kinkakuji temple to have a look at the golden pavilion. Having one simple objective to fulfil during the trip makes me feel less stress about having to visit multiple places to make the most of the trip. This round I almost missed it because of the busy and short schedule. But I finally managed to visit the temple on the very last day of the trip. It was really a nice and tranquil place to be and there was not a giant crowd. I really wonder how will it be like to spend a day just sitting in the pavilion to find my inner peace.
